LGA's Environmentally Friendly Features:

• State of the art stormwater retention basin
• Trees and plants filter the view of the LGA building
• Lots of native plants!
• Parking lot constructed in the back of the building to reduce visibility from the road
• Geothermal heating and cooling in the office and meeting space. Geothermal heating and cooling does not use fossil fuels. The temperature difference in water from the driven well acts as the heat and cooling source by using a reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioner.
• Composting toilet and low flow conventional toilet. The composting toilet has zero discharge of waste into the environment. (All fruit/vegetable waste material can be composted in the composting toilet, like apple and banana peels.)
• Permeable surface gravel driveway.
