Citizen Science

The LGA utilizes over 100 volunteers to provide data for several monitoring programs. Data provided by our "Citizen Scientists" can be used to provide a snapshot of the relative health of Lake George, its watershed and its ecosystem. The detection of possible negative trends can bring to light potential problems that can be addressed by the LGA, through its Lake Saving Programs, or by one of the LGA's partner organizations, through the Lake George Watershed Conference.
