Summer Job OpportunityLake George Watershed Steward Assistant CoordinatorSpend your summer outdoors on beautiful Lake George. Help protect the lake by interacting with lake users and educating them about invasive species and other water quality issues. This position is available through the Lake George Watershed Conference. Full time position: 40 hours/week - 5 days/week including weekends
with 2 days off mid-week. Deadline to apply: Friday, April 4, 2008, First review of applicants. Position Summary: Coordinate scheduling of 4 stewards at boat launches
around Lake George. Stewards will provide public outreach and education about
the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species to the waters of
Lake George and other waterways. Visit stewards daily at boat launches and
assist in their educational activities when appropriate. Help with the set up,
take down, and operation of a portable boat wash station as needed. Oversee and
