The LGA Catch Vac

The LGA Catch Vac is a trailer-mounted vacuum used to clean manholes and catch basins. The Catch Vac was purchased by the LGA with grant money in 1998. It is stored and maintained by the Village of Lake George and is used each year by local highway departments and residents to maintain drain structures.

Quick Notes on the Catch Vac:

  1. Cost: $70.00 per day.
  2. Renter must pick up and return the Catch Vac to the Village of Lake George garage.
  3. Renter must provide proof of insurance stating the LGA as loss payee.
  4. Must have a qualified individual operating the Catch Vac. The Village of Lake George may be able to provide training. No training - no rental - no exceptions.
  5. Renter must fill out a rental form.
  6. Machine is due back by 12:00 p.m. on the day following the rental period. Failure to comply will result in another day's rent charge.
  7. The Village of Lake George has the keys to the Catch Vac truck.
