Location: The Lake George Association is located in the Town of Lake George, NY, on Route 9N, South Luzerne Road, West of I-87 Northway Exit 21. (See map). Please stop by anytime-we would love to give you more information about LGA’s projects and programs.

LGA’s Environmentally Friendly Features:

“State of the Art” Stormwater Retention Basin
Trees and Plantings added to filter the view of the LGA building
Parking lot was constructed in the back of the building also to reduce visibility from the road
Geothermal Heating and Cooling utilized for the office and meeting space (Geothermal Heating/Cooling does not use fossil fuels. The temperature difference in water from the driven well acts as the heat and cooling source by using a reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioner.)
Composting Toilet and Low Flow Conventional Toilet: The Composting Toilet has zero discharge of waste into the environment. (All fruit/vegetable waste material can be composted in the composting toilet. (i.e.) Apple & Banana peels, etc.
Permeable surface gravel driveway maintained for stormwater considerations.
