LGA’s Environmentally Friendly Features:
  • “State of the Art” Stormwater Retention Basin

  • Trees and Plantings added to filter the view of the LGA building

  • Parking lot was constructed in the back of the building also to reduce visibility from the road

  • Geothermal Heating and Cooling utilized for the office and meeting space (Geothermal Heating/Cooling does not use fossil fuels. The temperature difference in water from the driven well acts as the heat and cooling source by using a reverse cycle heat pump/air conditioner.)

  • Composting Toilet and Low Flow Conventional Toilet: The Composting Toilet has zero discharge of waste into the environment. (All fruit/vegetable waste material can be composted in the composting toilet. (i.e.) Apple & Banana peels, etc.

  • Permeable surface gravel driveway maintained for stormwater considerations.
