The Lake George Association is bringing its award-winning Floating Classroom program to Hague on Tuesday, August 7, for an afternoon of hands-on experiments on Lake George.
The Rosalia Anna Ashby, the LGA’s Floating Classroom vessel, will be leaving the Hague Town Dock at 1 p.m. for a two-hour program that includes measuring water clarity, catching and examining zooplankton, and testing pH and checking current temperatures.
The hands-on Floating Classroom program is central to the mission of the Lake George Association.
The focus of the LGA’s educational programs is to provide the public with current information on the Lake’s conditions and describe how human actions affect those conditions, in a way that is understandable and actionable.
Prices: $18 adults, $17 seniors and $10 children under 18.
Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 518-668-3558.
