Adirondack Runners Donate $2,100 to LGA for Floating Classroom Support

Sue Nealin, right, Race Director of The Adirondack Runners’ “Adirondack 15K Race to the Lakes,” presents a check for $2,100 to LGA Development Director Nancy Cobb-Zoll on the LGA’s Floating Classroom vessel, the Rosalia Anna Ashby, recently. The $2,100 is from the proceeds from the Race, which was a benefit for the LGA’s Floating Classroom program.

Two-hundred-eleven racers participated in the second annual 15K on June 22. A supportive group of LGA staff and members volunteered to support the runners, and followed a course from SUNY Adirondack to Battlefield Park in Lake George.

The Adirondack Runners Club, a not-for-profit organization, sponsors and organizes every detail of their races. TARC is all volunteers, brought together by the love of running.
