LG Bookmark Contest Open To All Watershed Students

2020 Design Contest Theme is “Stop the Flow of Polluted Stormwater”

The Lake George Association is seeking original artwork for the twelfth annual Lake George Bookmark Design Contest.

In a change for 2020, entries will be accepted from all students attending public, private, or home schools located within the Lake George watershed.

Polluted stormwater is one of the biggest threats to Lake George water quality. Rainwater running off parking lots, roads, roofs, and cars can carry harmful pollutants to our streams and Lake. Therefore, we would like to encourage students to focus on Lake and watershed stormwater pollution prevention.

The Lake George watershed is 233 square miles and includes the towns of Lake George, Bolton, Hague, Ticonderoga, Putnam, Dresden, Fort Ann, Queensbury, the village of Lake George, Horicon, Lake Luzerne and Warrensburg.

The deadline for entries to be received is April 30, 2020.
