LAKE GEORGE, NY – At its annual organizational meeting in September, the Lake George Association Board of Directors elected officers, and welcomed back a familiar face.

Robert de Buys, a longtime member and former LGA treasurer, has been re-elected to the LGA Board of Directors and re-elected as treasurer.
Bob spent his professional career in the banking industry. He retired as senior vice president and chief credit policy officer with Wachovia Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. He divides his time between Hague and Birmingham, Alabama.
Current Board Member James Casaccio, of Bolton, has been elected as Secretary of the Board, replacing Cathy LaBombard, who resigned from the Board after being appointed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to a seat on the Lake George Park Commission.

Re-elected to office were: Mike Dier of Queensbury, President; Cheryl Lamb, of Bolton, as Executive Vice President; and Dan Davies of Queensbury and Bill Dutcher of Pilot Knob as Vice Presidents.
LGA Board Members serve a three-year term, and are eligible for re-election once.
The Lake George Association has been protecting Lake George water quality for more than 130 years. The Association’s Lake-Saving Projects and award-winning education programs are informed by our experience and guided our members, who number in the thousands locally and nationally. We focus on projects that will protect the Lake water quality now and will protect Lake water quality in the future.
