Lake George Association Citizen Science Lake Assessment Data

The following Lake George water quality data was collected by Lake George volunteers under the direction of Lake George Association staff members. The samples taken were analyzed for: Temperature; water clarity; conductance (amount of salt); chlorophyll (used as an indicator of algae in a water body); phosphorus; dissolved nitrogen; pH and other chemicals.

Clicking on the indicators at the top brings up the specific data.

You can then on the right side of the data select the month the data was collected, the place where it was collected, and whether it is a surface sample or a deep water sample.

Clicking on the year at the bottom of the chart brings up more detailed information.

Clicking on the “Reset” link at the bottom brings you back to the original view.
