Support ‘Lake(r) to Lake(r)’

LGA member Al Freihofer is once again setting out on an interesting trip awareness raising and fund raising — a trip he’s calling “Lake(r) to Lake(r).”

He’s rowing from his home in Cleverdale all the way to Hammondsport on Keuka Lake, with a couple of portages along the way. His trip consists of roughly 400 miles of rowing, with a goal of raising awareness of the challenges that both Lake George and Keuka Lake similarly face.

He will virtually bring us along, and use the trip as a fundraiser to support the LGA’s protection against the many threats we face, and has named both the LGA and the Keuka Lake Association as the trip’s beneficiaries.

The LGA is proud to partner with Al to showcase the Lake, to enjoy the trip through his eyes, and to support our work protecting the Lake’s water conditions from harm.

He will be blogging every day, which you can read here:

Al thanks you for your attention and your support!
